Industrial Action
There is currently no industrial action taking place.
However since From Sunday 22 December 2024, an amended timetable is in operation in the North West due to conductor availability at Northern. This timetable is designed to provide more certainty about the services that will run and reduce short-notice cancellations.

Please note that on days of strikes, where no train is scheduled to run - there will be no replacement bus to taxi services provided, so please do not travel unless you can safely complete your journey.
Engineering works
Engineering work is an essential part of maintaining and upgrading the rail network which we rely on every day. The majority of planned engineering work takes place overnight or at the weekend.
